I originally created this project for a workshop that I was invited to do here in Chilliwack. What a blast! This group of ladies were so fun! I hope I get to creft with them again in the future!

Cute little brag book for dad!
I made this cute little brag book using SU! clear envelopes (5) so 10 pictures. Created a cover using Basic Black and then I took a piece of Blue Bayou cardstock and stamped the weathered background stamp in versamark and clear embossed over it. I then used my brayer and inked over the entire piece in black ink. I think it turned out pretty cool! It gave it a little leathery look. The Happy Father's Day stamp is stamped in blue bayou and then embossed with the thick clear EP. (Can't remember the exact name) I tried to do the cracked glass technique but I don't think I left it in the freezer long enough because the EP wanted to come off, so I left it with the little crack. On the tag I did the faux metal technique using silver embossing powder and the saying from the stamp set One of a Kind. I then punched it out using the Key Tag Punch from SU! I set 3 jumbo pewter eyelets using my crop-o-dile and on the ribbon and pewter ribbon slide from the hodgepodge hardware kit. I didn't want to bling it up too much as it is for my husband, and you know guys...:) I think Dave will love it as there are pictures of Kaitlyn and the boys.....even a picture of me! :)

Scrapbook Pages for May Club 2008
New thing I'm doing this round of club is to teach a little technique each month. So along with making 2 12x12 layouts, we make a card using the technique I just taught. I don't have a picture of the card we did this month as I gave it to my MIL for Mother's Day. When the other ladies come who missed, and they make their card, I'll take a picture to share. Oh, the technique was opaque coloring/chalkboard technique. You can see I incorporated this technique into my pages.

OK, finally an update of some projects I've done
