Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Holiday and brought in the New Year with some Cheer! Here's to all of you a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous 2008! Thank you for visiting, it really means a lot to me!
A couple of Christmas Cards that I made but forgot to give....???

Here is the card I made my son from the Tooth Fairy. He lost his first tooth and subsequently lost it! He was devastated! Crying and upset and didn't stop talking about it all day. Wore my nerves bare! We wrote the tooth fairy a note explaining what happened and this is what she left him. He has this card on his dresser still!

These are a set of note cards I made for my girlfriend as part of her Christmas present. I thought it would be good for her to grab in a pinch as there are no sayings. I put them in a 5 in 1 template box with the chocolate satin ribbon...YUM! Sorry the pictures are blurry....



My mother-in-law at the last minute wanted a couple of Christmas cards for some people she forgot so I hand delivered these to her to give. I'm rather pleased with how they turned out considering they were madei n the middle of the night with heavy eyes!

Halloween and Stamp of the Month

Well, for Ryan's grade 1 class I made these cute little cello bags. Inside is 1 treat, 1 crayon and three joke cards using the Booglie Eyes set. I found the trading card idea from Stampalooza Paper Art Studio


Stamp Set of the Month for November is Peaceful Wishes. I LOVE this stamp set. It's definitely a classic. Anyhow, if you order this stamp set from me before the 15th of November, I will have a little get together to mount your new stamp set and then make three projects with your new stamp set! The project class is FREE! This is the first on the agenda using the Peaceful Wishes Stamp set. Isn't this ornament gorgeous! I love these colors. Very Festive! I will reveal the other two projects over the next week and a half.

Name game tag

I was tagged by Kelly from Diaries of a Stamper to play the name game.

The NAME GAME.

The name of the game is to list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life, for each letter of your middle name. If you don't have a middle name, use the name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your middle name and game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged and to read your blog.

My middle name is IRENE.

I - Hi my name is Tara and "I" am an addicted stamper......lol.

R - Ryan is my oldest son who will unbelievably be 7 in January.

E - Exercise - I hate exercises but am trying to incorporate it somehow into my life. It's all in my head at the moment.....lol. Walking to and from school with Ryan is the extent of this bodies exercise for the moment.

N - Nostalgia - being a cancer, I tend to reflect and hold on to the past a lot. Both my parents are deceased as well as my grandparents. I really miss my family and tend to "hold on" and cherish what I have left of them.

E - Events - I hoping to host a few Stampin' Up! events for the upcoming holiday season.

2 more cards for my mother-in-law

My mother-in-law was recently shopping at Save-On-Foods and when she went outside to wait for her taxi to come, she unloaded her groceries out of her buggy to return it. This was all right outside the front door. Anyway, in her haste she set her purse down with her groceries while she returned her buggy. Well, it got stolen. In a panic she notified the store, citizen's patrol, the police and the bank, all using the store's phone. In the meantime, the taxi came and went. an employee of the store gave my MIL a ride home. I thought it would be nice if she thanked the store and the employees for all they did for her. Side note: citizen's patrol found her purse in the next mall over with just the cash missing. She has however cancelled everything and awaiting new plastic. I'm sure she won't do that again!
This card is for a 50th wedding anniversary that some friends of my MIL are celebrating. I case'd this from Kristina Koch with a few minor changes. On the inside I stamped Happy Anniversary from the same set as the Warm Wishes....(set name escapes me).

A waterfall thank you

This is a thank you card that I made for my aunt and uncle for my birthday present. My uncle works for Safeway and they have a Starbucks inside.....he likes it very much......yum!

Christmas Card Stamp A Stack

Christmas Card Stamp A Stack - Saturday November 3, 2007. It will be held at the Yarrow Community Center in Yarrow. There is your choice of sessions. Morning session will be 9am-12pm and the afternoon session will be 1pm-4pm.

We have created 10 Christmas Cards. We would like you to cast your vote for your favorite 5. We will be making 3 each of the Top 5 designs for $30 which includes your envelopes!

Registration is open until October 15th, 2007. Payment must accompany your registration in order to secure your spot.

Please bring your double sided adhesive and your scissors to the event.
