OPEN HOUSE - MAY 1, 2010

Everyone is invited to come on over and preview some of the great new products Stampin' Up! has to offer in the new Summer Mini Catalogue which is going live on May 1, 2010. Be the first to order some of these great new products.

For those of you on my catalogue mailing list, you can expect to get your copy in the mail the last week of April, so you'll get a sneak peak! For those of you who aren't on my list or didn't get theirs, I have extras available the day of my Open House.

There will be door prizes, refreshments and snacks as well as a quick make and take. I will also be purging some of my stamp sets and will have them out for sale as well.

Open House will be from 11am - 2pm. You can come anytime during that time as it is an informal gathering. So come when it's good for you.

How to get tickets into the door prize raffles:

  • RSVP to let me know you'll be attending (bonus - get a 2nd make & take)
  • Bring a friend that has never stamped with me before.
  • Bring a snack to share
  • Sign up for a club
  • Book a workshop for you and your friends at your home
  • Place an order
Everyone who attends will be entered for a door prize - the above are bonus entries.

Look forward to seeing everyone on May 1st!

I'm on Shaw TV!

I was contacted by Tiffany Gurden from Shaw TV a few weeks ago. She was wanting to do a story about me being a stay at home mom and my love for stamping and crafting and how I integrate all of it into my everyday life. Well, we shot the piece last Friday April 9 and it started airing Friday April 16th. It's on a continual loop until next Friday April 23rd.

The boys got a real kick out of seeing pictures of themselves on the TV. So, the only way I can share it with those of you that don't live in Chilliwack was to record it with my camera and then upload it. So, of course it's not the best video, but at least this way you get to see it. I have recorded it on my PVR so I can relish in my 15 minutes of fame for years to come. lol.

Also, if you live in Chilliwack, check out Friday's Time's newspaper...there is a little story about Stampin' Up! and their decor elements line.......If you want to learn more, contact me!

Ryan and Shane's Love Bots Valentines

Of course I got off easy this year compared to last year. (If you don't recall, last year I made red pillow boxes with hearts punched out and acetate covering the hearts so you could see inside the colourful smarties......That was a tonne of work!) I made some heart shaped cookies to be put inside each of these and they of course had colored sugared sprinkles on them! These Valentines went together so quickly and easily. These would also make great birthday "loot" boxes. You could actually fit some great stuff into these boxes. Let your imagination guide you! (These are from the Occasion Mini too!) These are while quantities last......

February Club Projects.

This card is made with a new Stampin' Up! set we got from Leadership that will be in the new big catalogue come July.....it is so beautiful. We used the poppin' pastels technique.
Being half Irish, I always have to make a St. Patrick's Day card! This is using the new scalloped heart embosslit die in the Occasion Mini.
This Black and White card is so elegant! It's using the Bride designer paper, white satin ribbon, and of course the free scalloped edge punch (with a $65 purchase).

If you like what you see or want to learn more about the products used or Sale-A-Bration, contact me today!

The 4th project was a monogrammed On board Heart (which I gave to Ryan's teacher for Valentine's day) so will try and make another one to show. I'm really losing it when I forget to take pictures of things......sorry.

The Elusive Owl...

This was the 4th card we did for January's club projects......Hard to see but we added crystal effects to the leaves and to the owl's eyes......

Pop up card/Sympathy Card

This is one of the sympathy cards I made for my husbands niece. My husbands sister Donna passed away on January 16, and I wanted to make special cards for her daughters.
We made this pop up card for club in January and I also made 28 of these to swap at Leadership.
