May's Club Projects.

Kind of a manly card.  Using the Artichoke and Lucky Limeade......I think it's called a centre step card.  We also made our own envelopes using the simply scored diagonal plate....super easy!  I used the well worn designer paper.  Matched great!

Had to do a Mother's Day Card.........for those that didn't need or want a Mother's Day Card, could change the sentiment.

Faux silk technique using the Elements of Style stampset.  This is also using the Calypso Coral and Baja Breeze.

Hard to tell in the picture but this is a bright card!  I really love this Summer Smooches designer paper that will be in the new catalogue coming June 1st.  So I used the pacific point, daffodil delight, rich razzleberry.  I did the faux metal technique on the tag behind the "for you" and the silver glimmer paper.

Scrapbook Layout for May.  Hell's Gate.  Family favorite.

Had lots of pictures so I made the left side flip up.

March Club Projects

These are the scrapbook layouts for March.  Focus on DSP and the Border Punch.

All Purpose Card with no sentiment.  The ladies really loved it.  Some opted not to put the bow on for easy mailing.

One of my ladies commented that I always seem to incorporate a butterfly.  Hmm, who doesn't love butterflies.  I don't think I did butterflies for April......wait and see.

This was my favorite card this month.  I case'd Kari Metzger's idea of the dimensioned frames.  Hard to tell in the picture but the outside frame is popped up an extra layer from the inside frame which is popped up from the main image.

I loved the card so much that I decided to make one for my mother in law who is currently in the hospital.  I changed the sentiment and stamped it on the vellum.  I think I like the vellum better....what do you think?

Even though this card was fairly simple, the ladies really enjoyed doing the emboss resist technique on this card.  The color combo is from the color coach.

STAY TUNED, I'LL BE UPLOADING APRIL SHORTLY......

Valentine's Projects for My Boys' Classmates & Teachers

These were nice and easy and fast to make.  I had Shane sign all his Valentines and I stapled them all together.  Who doesn't like conversation hearts?

I had Ryan do the same thing for his classmates and teacher.  Sign them all.  Of course he has more kids in his class.  Dave couldn't wait til they were done so he could have any candy that was left over!  He made short work of them.

February Club Projects

I love butterflies!  One of the ladies at my weekly Wednesday class was giving me a hard time.  I told her to watch it or else all the cards would have butterflies....teehee.

This has been the favorite of most.  I love the Mixed Bunch stamp set in the new Occasion Mini.  And having a matching punch is just an added bonus.  I embossed all 3 flower stamps with red craft in and clear embossing powder.  The ribbon was a challenge for me.  I didn't have and 1/4" grosgrain *gasp* I know!  So I did have some retired 5/8" polka dotted ribbon which I laid a piece of sticky strip down the middle of the polka dotted side and folded in the seams to make the ribbon.  It had to be red.  No other color would do!  haha.  Funny how we get our minds set on something.

I saw this look somewhere where they had pieced all the designer paper together and then ran it through the Big Shot with the embossing folder.  I LOVE it!  It looks like a nice soft quilt.

Wanted a nice simple male/female any occasion kind of card.  So for this card there was no sentiment.  Ladies could choose one for the inside if they wanted but most left it blank.  They like the idea of having a card in a pinch.  I can't get enough of the Mocha Morning DSP.  I will have to stock up before June!  I wish they would keep it!

January Club Projects

Wow, where has the time gone?  Bad demonstrator!  I must confess though, Dave's mom has been in the hospital since January 3rd and Dave himself was quite sick over the holidays.  I have been working part time at the clinic and you know, everyday stuff on top of that.  Not to make excuses.  So here are the projects for January.  I am going to post February too!  And with any luck get back on track.  So here goes it.  Let me know what you think!

I always try and make sure the girls and I are prepared for our Valentine's well in advance.

I LOVE the new labels dies from Stampin' Up!  I uses shimmer paint on the embossed background and embossed the Apothecary Stamp in Pewter embossing powder and colored with my markers.

Had to try out my new Sale-A-Bration goodies.  The Ribbon and designer paper are FREE items I earned.  The scallop edge is also a new edgelit that Stampin' Up! has come out with.

Celebrate is part of a new Sale-A-Bration stamp set you can earn for free with any $60 purchase.  You can never have too many sentiments in my book.

Nice simple card.  It was all about the paper for me.  I love the new ruffled satin ribbon available in the new Occasion Mini.  The stamp set with the Happy Birthday and flourish frame is a Sale-A-Bration set that can also be earned for free with any $60 purchase.  So much to choose from this year.

Teacher / Student Christmas Treats

All the treats ready to go for the last day of school!  Whew!  Got them done!
These were the cute Santa Sacks filled with Chocolate Saltine Toffee.....addicting!
These little Santa faces were attached to a licorice stick in cello.  These were for Ryan's Class.
These Candy Treat Boxes were for Shane's Class.  They had Hershey's Kisses which were white chocolate and candy cane flavored.  They were yummy too.  Of course I had to sample!

December Club Projects

Again, still waiting for some ladies to come finish their cards.  I love the above stamp set.  Can't wait to use it again for next years cards.....

November Club Projects....

I'm late posting these club pictures because some club members haven't made them yet.  I usually wait until all club members have made their cards then post the pictures.  I just don't want to wait any longer.
