I know, I know, it's hard to believe that Christmas is only like 6 months away, but I really wanted to use my Pomegranate paper, and I find it to be a festive color. Scrap club's "theme" is the weave in the background. The ladies seemed to really like it!. Looks better in real life as does most everything.....:)

Finally got to play with some new stuff!

I have to say, I do like the new In Colors for 2009, except for the Kiwi Kiss. I've never really been a green fan, so this one I think will take a while to grow on me. Heck, I have a year! I wanted to try out my new Scor-Pal and make a gate fold card and I forced myself to try the Kiwi Kiss paper. The only trick was getting this card to stay closed, hence the ribbon. I'm totally out of photo turns and I really didn't want to add a sentiment to help keep it closed as it would look unbalanced to me. I do like the new Bella Rose paper. It's fun to use girly stuff as I'm surrounded by boys! Hope you like this one.

This was inspired by Markie's Mom. These colors were Stathoula's wedding colors. Dark purple and yellow. I love the layout but the colors are a little bright for me. I hope she likes it.

Sympathy Card

I made this card for my distant cousin Ruth. My Great Aunt Myrtle passed away. I only met her once but she was 93 years old! Good to know I have good genes! This card is for Ruth.

Happy Birthday Jenn!

This is the birthday card that has been in my purse for over a week waiting to find it's way into my sister-in-laws hands....lol. Happy 29th *wink* Birthday Jenn! Hugs from all of us!

Happy Anniversary to my Sweetie!

I'm going to miss Blue Bayou! Anyway, here is the anniversary card that I made my husband for our 4th wedding anniversary. We've been together now for 11 though! Whew! Crazy!

Teacher Projects

This was a name frame I made for Ryan's teacher. There were 11 boys and 9 girls in his class so I used the All In The Family set and cut out that many kids. Looks better IRL!

This was the card we made for Ryan's teacher. We also made her a cookie bouquet which she shared with the class. Ryan painted the terra cotta pot blue...his favorite color.

We also made cards for Mrs. Valor, Mr. Ferris and Miss Adams. None of which I took a picture. They also got some bundles of cookies.

Well, the time has certainly flown by! I'm sorry that I haven't updated. June was crazy busy with making the school yearbook, teacher gifts, club projects etc. I don't know how some of you ladies do it! So here I am finally posting some of my creations.
