Sorry that I have been absent. I have been participating in a few swaps to build up my selection for upcoming workshops. Anyway, swapping is now done and now I'm getting ready for a big workshop that my girlfriend is hosting for me. I actually had to go and rent a room at our local rec center as she currently has 18 people on the list and has a month yet to keep inviting people. I told her 10 would be fantastic. She's just trying to help me fill some clubs. Which is my ultimate goal! Well, for this workshop, I want to show a variety of projects. The first is the canvas that I made last night. I'm actually pretty happy with it. Being boys, you can't really doll it up with flowers or anything. How boring. I was also wanting to make up some set samplers as suggested by my upline. I had a few samples of Doodle This artwork so needed just one more sample to complete the set sampler. So, I case'd the catty. I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out. One set sampler done, a few more to go. I just have to order some more large cello bags. I now have none. Go figure. LOL. I will be back to show more samples of creations for this workshop. thanks for popping by!

You can't really tell in the picture, but I used the Word Find background stamp River Rock on River Rock. Check out that NEW Satin Ribbon.....I LOVE IT! Any yes these pages have the waterfall!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted on a regular basis. Summer just tends to get away from me. I'm currently working on renovating my oldest son's bedroom. We have some new gyprock and are going to be painting this weekend...yahoo! Ryan is so excited. I can't wait to see his reaction to the finished project! Thank you Uncle Mike and Auntie Sue for all of your hard work and skill and love that you're putting into this project! It's so appreciated!

A couple of "just because" cards

Usually I am either stamping for other people or for scrap club. I wanted so much to stamp today just because. This first card took forever. I have lots of other pieces to make other cards because I just couldn't get this one to come together. It's as done as it's going to get. I'm sorry this one is blurry. I'm happy with this one. When I went to my upline's house to check out what she learned at Convention, I was able to stamp some of her stamps that I don't have to play around with them. This pomegranate flower border is from the 'Happiness' background stamp.

Some overdue creations to share

Sorry for the delay in posts....it's been crazy around here. I also wanted to wait in sharing my swaps that I did. I made this card for my husband for our anniversary on July 14th.
My MIL, LIa needed a Thank you card PDQ, this is what happens on the fly....LOL

This is the card I made for my friend Barb's 30th birthday. She had bought the Pick A Petal set at our last Scrap Club meeting so had to show here this super cute lady bug!
This is the Kid card I make for Mike's kid patients.
This is the card Imade for the "New Catty" swap with Marie.

These are the two baby/kid cards I made for a swap with Kimberly (Crafty Me). I can't wait to see what I get in return!
